KGS School operates the KGS mobile application for students, parents, teachers, and school staff. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when you use the app.

• School-related records such as attendance, homework, notices, fees, exams, documents, and timetable information.
• Device notification token used to send push notifications.
• Files or images uploaded by the user where a school feature requires upload support.
• Basic device and app usage information needed for security, troubleshooting, and service improvement.

How We Use Information

We use information only for school management and communication purposes, including:

• Providing access to school services through the mobile app.
• Showing academic, attendance, fee, homework, examination, and notice information.
• Sending important school notifications and announcements.
• Maintaining app security, reliability, and support.

Push Notifications

The app uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send notifications. A device token may be generated and linked with the logged-in school account so that relevant alerts can be delivered. Users can control notification permissions from their device settings.

Permissions

The app may request permissions such as:

• Notifications, to show school alerts and announcements.
• Internet access, to connect with school services.
• Camera or file access, when a feature requires taking or uploading files.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only with authorized school systems, service providers needed to operate the app, or where required by law.

The app is intended for use by the school community. Student information is handled for educational and administrative purposes under the supervision of the school. Parents or guardians may contact the school for questions about student information.
